The Bridge was formed on 1st April 2007.
It is the Council for Voluntary Service covering Central Borders, Roxburgh and Tweeddale.
Support Community and Voluntary Organisations by providing community development support and practical help on a range of issues
Represent the interests of Community and Voluntary Organisations through community planning, and within local networks
Inform Community and Voluntary Organisations by communicating with partners in both the statutory and voluntary sector

The Bridge will be holding a Conference for voluntary and community groups from all over the Scottish Borders on Saturday 25th September.
This will be an opportunity for groups to learn about current issues which affect them and potential solutions for dealing with the issues.
