Action Plan

Our Action Plan follows from the phrase ‘towards sustainable lifestyles’ in our logo, our headed paper footer 'Greater Awareness - Caring Attitudes - Wiser Use of Resources - Better Quality of Life’ and takes account of the Aims in our Constitution which are recognised by OSCR as being for charitable purposes.

·     Campaign to Reduce Waste (CReW materials with ideas for action and website links - in Library section)
·     Contribute to and advise on the Scottish Borders Strategic Outcome Agreement (SOA)
·     Support and promote EcoSchools
·     Coordinate and promote environmental events (for example at Borders Union Show)
·     Insert in Events section details of SBEP meetings and Events significant to a wide area
·     Support/develop the educational component of member organisations
·     Promote the educational value of the Borders environment
·     Promote community and youth involvement in environmental issues
·     Publicise the partnership publicly and within formal and informal education
·     Promote the resources produced as part of the Bridging the Border projects
·     Network
·     Update the website and membership distribution list as necessary
·     Review subscription annually
