RAVS Membership You can support RAVS by becoming a member of our organisation. As well as being able to get help with the development of your organisation and funding information, membership also entitles you to: - Access the range of practical resources at a discounted rate.
- Use our reduced rate colour photocopying service.
- Represent your organisation on RAVS Management Committee.
- The right to vote at our Annual General Meeting in June.
- Receive, advertise free and contribute to our newsletter 'RAVSnews'.
- Receive 'RAVSbriefing', our funding and training bulletin.
'RAVSnews' keeps you up-to-date with the latest funding information and you can see which local groups have been successful in their funding bids. There is news and views from the local voluntary sector, a members page and there's even a RAVS page which tells you what we've been up to. 'RAVSbriefing' lets you know what grants are available and from which funders, the type of projects funded and what the deadlies are. This is emailed to our members and posted to those who don't have have an email address. You also have the knowledge that by supporting RAVS, you are also supporting your local community. How to join RAVS It only costs £6 to become a member of RAVS. The membership year runs from 1st April to 31st March with subscriptions due in April.
