Location of Offices

RAVS provides support, information and services to voluntary groups in an area of 597 square miles, delineated by the former Roxburgh District boundaries of the Scottish Borders Council area, with a current population of approximately 33,000 or 1/3 of the Borders.

The Scottish Borders Region is covered by four CVS.

RAVS covers the geographical area that falls under two Area Committees of Scottish Borders Council; Cheviot Area Committe and Teviotdale and Liddesdale Area Committee.

The region in southern Roxburgh centered on Hawick has been identified as an area for regeneration.
