Breaking down big words into smaller chunks.

  LOTTIE:  Before I came back to school I liked to read, but big words I could not get them. Now I know how to break them down and I can understand them and it makes it a lot better for me.

 If I saw a big word with more than 9 letters in it, I was shown how to break it into 3 letters at a time and say them. It was great and simple.
