QUACK QUACK

Watching from the bridge.  Once again we were very lucky with the weather which was lovely and sunny and quite warm. 1,000 blue and yellow duck were ceremoniously dropped from the bridge and sailed down the stream

WAITING AT THE FINISHING LINE

Is mine the winner? Everyone looking intently to see if they can recognise their number on the bottom

WATCHING FROM THE ORCHARD

Some good vantage points here.  Can you see the ducks coming down?

TREASURE HUNT

Thanks to Emma for organising the Treasure Hunt in Elibank Park.  Children (helped by their families) had to look for pictures of animals which can be found in the park.  Did you find the badger, squirrel, golden eagle, fox and a few more?  Efforts rewarded by a Cadbury's Creme Egg - yummy!

WINNERS

Announing the winners is Stuart Walker - Village Hall Chairman.  Did you know we raised over £800 for the Village Hall funds including almost £130 from tehchildren's tombola!

ENJOYING A SNACK

At 9 weeks old, maybe a bit young for juice and cakes but mmmm this milk is good

OH DEAR

One young visitor fell in the stream trying to catch ducks.  He doesn't look very happy does he?  Granny will have some explaining to do when she takes him home!

 CLIMBING TREES

Louis and Sam having fun climbing trees in the orchard

CATCHING DUCKS

Finlay doesn't mind getting wet and once again was our chief duck catcher
