How to Access our Services

Directly by phoning the above number or email catherine.bell@borders.scot.nhs.uk. Also any GP or Health Care Professional can make a referral.

What will happen once I've been referred?

An appointment will be made for you to be seen by the most appropriate member of the Continence Team.  You may be seen in a clinic, hospital or at home depending on your circumstances.

What will happen on my first visit?

A full continence assessment will be carried out to obtain a clear history of your complaint.  This may include a bladder scan, bladder diary and urine testing.  Following this a personalised treatment plan will be given to you and will be regularly reviewed.

What we do

We develop individual treatment plans in accordance with the patients needs.
