Berwick-upon-Tweed University of the Third Age

U3A realised that Third Agers (older people no longer in full time employment) themselves have the skills to organise and teach in their own autonomous learning groups. So local U3As like Berwick-upon-Tweed were formed and since we learn for the pleasure of it, no qualifications are required and none are given.
