 Community Action for Energy (CAfE) is a programme from the Energy Saving Trust designed to promote and facilitate local community-based energy projects. CAfE provides a range of services to help make sustainable energy work for you and your community group.

BOOKS FOR ALL SCHEME

Bookdonors, a multi stranded community interest company operate the Books for all Scheme where lots of good quality books which cannot be sold on the internet become stock for the scheme. The books, which are for all ages are displayed at community sites throughout the Borders where people can help themselves for free.   Also organisations can obtain a supply of books for fund raising events.  For more details click here

                    DIGITAL SWITCHOVER

The Bridge, in partnership with Digital UK and Digital Outreach Limited, will be operating Advice Points in several locations during the actual Digital Switchover.

There will be staff on hand to assist you in all aspects of the switchover including the Digital Help Scheme.

These advice points will be operating from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm on Wednesday 19th, Thursday 20th and Friday 21st November.

Kelso            The Tait Hall, Edenside Road

Duns            Southfield Community Centre, Station Road
