The Bridge was formed on 1st April 2007 by the amalgamation of the long established councils for voluntary service in Central Borders(CBAVS), Roxburgh (RAVS) and Tweeddale (TAVO) together with the Borders Forum of CVS (BFCVS). 

What We Do 

  • Supporting Community & Voluntary Organisations by providing community development support and practical help on a range of issues
  • Representing the interests of Community & Voluntary Organisations through community planning, and within local networks
  • Informing Community & Voluntary Organisations by communicating with partners in both the statutory and voluntary sector

The energy saving trust, Community Action for Energy are offering the following training through The Bridge

Making it Happen:
Wednesday 10th September
9.30am to 2.00pm,
venue in Tweeddale to be confirmed
A FREE one day course with lunch

At Making it Happen, you will examine the challenges of running a community based sustainable energy project, learn new project planning skills and refresh existing skills.
Making it Happen is a unique training opportunity for representatives from the community and voluntary sector to take part in hands on, practical planning exercises.
