Eildon Ring - Earlston

The Eildon Ring Locality Team covers the area from Oxton in the north to St Boswells in the south and includes the towns of Lauder, Earlston, Melrose and Newtown St Boswells as well as a number of smaller villages and hamlets such as Gordon, Westruther and Redpath. Scottish Borders Council offices are located at Newtown.

The total population numbers 11,831 of which around 2,578 are children and of these 28% or around 271 are under the age of five.
