Improving Social & Community Services and Facilities

This group is now concentrating on two main projects.

1) Community Café
2) Childcare provision
(see sub page links on left for information re meetings /updates)

(The other priorities that this group had been looking at have now been taken back to the Managemount Group)

Priority 1

Set up a Cafe

Organise more family nights - social events for the whole community

Set up a childcare service

Provide better transport links/ use transport resources more efficiently

A working group has been formed and meeting regularly.

This group made a trip to Rowlands Youth Cafe on Monday 29th January 2008.

Next meeting is 28th February at 6.30 p.m. in Burnfoot School.
