PRINCE- is a a 2 year old Jack Russel who is a true representative of the breed. He will do best in a home where his new owner will continue his socialisation and training and he will make a wonderful companion,

ROXY - is an 8 month old lab crossbreed, who has been kept in a crate for a lot of the time so is in need of exercise and socialisation. She has just arrived and is being assessed  but appears to be a friendly biddable dog. Photo and more information to follow.

LOUIS - is well settled at the centre and enjoys his short walks and time in the reception and yard. He would need a very special home with owners who were willing to not put any pressure on him.

GIZMO

   -    is a lovely shih tzu who has had a difficult start in life when he
was allowed to be the dominant partner. He has been with us for some time and is a very well behaved dog who deserves a new home with someone who understands his need for love and attention but will also be firm with him.

ZIGGY

     -     is a friendly 4 year old cross. He is a bit timid on first meeting you as he has had very little socialisation but loves to be with people and is learning to walk on the lead well. He knows his basic commands and will make a great companion if he is continued with his training. Ziggy is a really wonderful dog and this photo just does not do him justice.

BEN

 -

From Ben's foster carers - Ben is an affectionate and playful dog who regularly forgets that he is thirteen. He loves going for walks but not in the rain. When out on walks he is very lively, however when at home he sleeps a lot and tends to snore. He enjoys a good game of tug-o-war and when he gets going he is extremely good at dissecting cuddly toys. He loves treats but watch your fingers as they may get in the way! He gets on well with other dogs but not quite so well with cats. He eats twice a day and has a cod liver oil tablet with his evening meal to help with his arthritis. Always watch out when giving him this as he tends to hide the tablet under his bowl. He likes to make sure that everyone knows when the doorbell or phone rings (or any other suspicious sounds). He loves attention and being allowed on the bed on Saturday mornings. If you are giving somebody a hug, be prepared to include Ben too. All in all a lovely dog and we'll be sorry to see him go. x

SUSIE
- is a lovely friendly 13 year old cross. She is medium sized and spends a lot of her day sleeping. She does love her twice daily walks and to spend time wandering round the garden. She loves her food and mealtimes and is a very healthy dog.

MARLEY
Marley is a nice fairly small staffie about 8 or 9 months old, brindle and white.  He has been a nice boy in kennels. He walks fine on lead, ok with other dogs if not a bit enthusiastic.  He is un neutered at the moment

HOME FROM HOME
Tally (the black one) and Jock are 3 year old brother and sister. Their owner feels she has to rehome them as due to a change in circumstances they are being left for 8 hours quite often.
They are lovely friendly dogs who get on with other dogs, children and each other. Ideally their owners would like them to be re-homed with each other as they get on so well and are used to being together. Both are neutered, vaccinated and microchipped, are obedient and good off the lead. What more could you ask for!
