BAVS Projects

Over the years, BAVS has set up many different projects. Projects usually start out as an idea where a need is identified for setting up a group to provide some kind of service to the community. BAVS will define exactly what it is that is required to enable this to come to fruition. Finance is organised first usually with a funding bid which may cover items such as capital costs, premises, staff salaries, resources, equipment etc.

Once the project is up and running BAVS keeps a watchful eye over its development and is always there to provide support, though ultimately the main aim is for the project to break away from BAVS and become a separate organisation.
