Make early contact with the Institution to negotiate your degree route. Heriot-Watt University, Scottish Borders Campus offers both Degree and MSc courses by full-time, part-time and distance learning. There are two schools operating in the Scottish Borders Campus; the School of Textiles and Design and the School of Management and Languages offering a range of degrees. Heriot-Watt offer an alternative approach to structuring student timetables attempting, where possible, to run lectures concurrently in blocks (usually of 3 hours) offering students the opportunity to attend classes over an intensive three day week instead of scattered over a full week. This method is beneficial to students who work, have children or have other time constraints. A range of business related MScs are now on offer including specialisms in Marketing, Human Resources and Finance. The Institution is an active research centre for a range of textile and fashion based research.
