A Celebration of Learning | Borders Adult Learner's Awards
Do you know of an individual or a group of people (over the age of 16) who have undertaken any form of learning? This may be through an accredited qualification, learning in the workplace, learning through volunteering, learning in the community, or learning through some other experience like the University of Life. If so then nominate them for an Adult Learners Award in order to recognise and celebrate their considerable achievement.
Download the nomination forms
You can choose to download the forms in either MS Word or PDF format. Which should you choose? If you already have MS Word on your computer, downloading the Word version allows you to complete the form by typing on your computer. Most computers will automatically open PDF files in Acrobat Reader. If you don't have Acrobat installed on your computer, download it for free from Adobe by clicking the button below.
| Who can make a nomination?
Anyone can make a nomination, with the consent of the nominee. Please look around you and identify everyone who deserves recognition, so that the nominations for an award come from the very widest range of learning experiences.
Nominees should be resident in the Borders, but the learning may have taken place elsewhere. If you want to find out more about the awards please contact one of the following people:
