Information for Carers Scottish Borders Carers Planning Group have updated their invaluable guide for carers. This useful free handbook contains a wealth of information for approximately 11,430 unpaid carers in the Borders about the support and resources available to them from a wide range of agencies.
 The handbook has been produced in conjunction with carer representatives and staff from Scottish Borders Council Social Work Services, NHS Borders and the Princess Royal Trust Carer’s Centre.
The handbook guides the carer through the process of getting help. Features include: - an A-Z of organisations providing information, advice and support
- a Who’s Who of the professionals providing care
- information about charges and benefits
- a relaxation CD.
