Welcome to the SBEP website. If you are interested in climate change, environmental or sustainability issues please read on.
We exist to network organisations and interested individuals in the Scottish Borders and adjacent areas, concerned about or involved in issues relating to our climate, environment and sustainability. Organisations can include statutory and not-for-profit clubs, groups, and services. In this time of heightened awareness of climate change and other human impacts, we can provide links between local groups and higher level policy makers.
Our work is guided by the phrase ‘towards sustainable lifestyles’ in our logo, by our page footer 'promoting Greater Awareness - Caring Attitudes - Wiser Use of Resources - Better Quality of Life’ and takes account of the Aims in our Constitution which are recognised as being for charitable purposes.
We welcome new members - membership is a nominal £1
