Central Borders Federation of Village Halls

The Federation acts as an umbrella body for the rural  village and community halls in the central Borders.

 There are currently 23 member halls providing a vital facility for their local community. Almost all our member halls are owned by the local community, and all are run by local volunteers.

On these pages, you can find out about the work of the Federation, where the halls are located and the range of activities taking place.

 The Federation 

The Federation supports those running village and community halls throughout the central Borders. The meetings are open to everyone involved with a hall in this area. Details of the meetings , minutes and agendas can be found here in the library along with documents and presentations of particular interest to you.

The meetings cover a variety of subjects ranging from Health & Safety, Fire Law Regulations, Licensing and Funding.

The Central Borders Federation of Village  Halls receives funding fromScottish Borders Council and is supported by The Bridge in Central Borders
